Hi Everyone!

I've been having so much fun with crafting cards for the holidays... just had to share a few.

1.  I love the simplicity of the white/blue combination.  Plus who doesn't love Santa flying through the sky on Christmas Eve?  The sentiment is from the Simon Says Stamp "Home for the Holiday's" stamp set.  The Santa image is from my Cricut "Christmas" cartridge and the embossing folder is from Cuttlebug "Simply Charmed" set.

2.  The below card was made for one of those OMG  - You're how old birthdays :-)  The Stamp set used is from the Peachy Keen Stamps "PKSC-33 September 2014 stamp set" along with the embossing folder from Cuttlebug "Happy Birthday".  I made the Picture frame from my Cricut Expressions machine.  I just love the expression on the balloons face.  It says it all!

 3.  The below card was partially made last year and finished this year!  I was looking though my stash of "extra stuff" which consists of die cuts and extra pieces that didn't work out for other projects when I found the elf which is from the Simon Says Stamp "Gnome for the Holidays" stamp set.  He was too cute not to use on a card so I started with him and added the embossing folder "Winter Wonderland" for the background.  The little snowflake cutouts came from a store (can't remember which one) and then the card wouldn't be complete without the really cool home which is cutout from my Cricut "Christmas" cartridge.

4.  The below card is just for fun to see if I could mix elements that wouldn't normally go together and make it into a card.  I started with the stamp from the website I Brake for Stamps "Humorous Sentions Plate #ES1009.  I used the trees off of Simon Says Stamp "Home for the Holidays" stamp set along with some sequins for the 'golf' balls.  I cut up some of my clear stamps to have a sentiment that says Sending you... Christmas Cheer.  I'm not completely satisfied with this card and i may have to try this again.  I was good for a laugh though.

 Inside of card:

I hope all of you have a wonderful week!

Simon Says Stamp - What's Brewing?

Hi Stampers,

This weekend I had fun making cards from the new Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit with the "What's Brewing" stamp set.  Our mornings are getting cooler here in the Pacific Northwest and the coffee/tea inspired cards were perfect for crafting up some cute cards.  Enjoy!

Changing Seasons

Hello, I hope everyone is doing well!  It's that time of year again when children go back to school, and the promise of fall is in the air.  For me this is a time to look forward to the cooler days, as well as the holidays to come.  The crafting time is almost as fun as those holidays... well almost :-)

Autumn is my favorite time of year and i can't wait to dig into the card making with Halloween, Thanksgiving, and most of all Christmas!  I've added a few I've worked on over the weekend.

I wish all of you happy crafting~

1.  The below card was made with paper from Gina K. Designs and the stamp set is by Stamps of Life called "Ornaments4Christmas".

2.  This cute little card is from two stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp: "Home for the Holidays" and Winter Friends.  Again the paper is from Gina K. Designs.

3.  The below card was made with Gina K. Designs paper and the stamp set from Simon Says Stamp "Winter Friends".  This was my first attempt at a shaker card.  It was fun but took forever to make!

4.  The cute tree's are from Hampton Art stamp and die set.  This stamp set was picked up from my local Michel's store.

5.  I love snowflakes and the below are an assortment of quilled snowflakes.  The supplies come from Quilling Superstore.  They have all of the supplies you need to make these beautiful snowflakes for the holidays.

Happy New Year!

Being a busy mom and working full time I find it difficult to find "me time" to craft, workout or take five minutes to rest... i feel like a puppy chasing my tail in circles most of the time. So after so many years of making New Year's resolutions and then throughout the year of course failing at some point... I've decided to focus on being positive in all avenues of my life this year!

I sincerely wish everyone a wonderful New Year filled with happiness, peace and joy in the year to come.

It's been awhile..

Hello my fellow blogger friends.  it's has been a long time since I've written on my blog.  I've had some changes in my life, the biggest is that i'm working again (outside of the home) - this is why I've not had time to be very crafty and post on my blog.  Don't get me wrong i love working, i just don't have the creative down time that i used to.

The picture frame below was made with stamps and quilled flowers.  One hobby i wish i had more time for.

I hope all of you have been enjoying your summer and have had tons of great memories to show for it - or as i would say "great memories to scrapbook".  you know you are addicted to scrapbooking when you change the way you take photos so that they "look good" for your scrapbook.

The other big change is that i am no long a creative memories consultant.  So i will be able to post whatever, whenever and not have to worry about that whole thing.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and i hope i will be blogging more often.

Take Care~

OPERATION WRITE HOME

I've been busy making cards... Valentine cards that is.  Why you say?  because I've found a great way to support our troops abroad.  It's called Operation Write Home their email address is:  http://operationwritehome.org/

I've been making Valentine cards because it takes time to get cards over to the troops, then for them to pick them up and write to their loved ones and send them back in time for the holiday.  Valentine holiday that is!  So get your sweet tooth, xoxoxo, and sweetie stamps ready and start making cards for troops today!

Here are some of the cards I'll be sending over.
